The Good Nails

Hello everybody! I have yet another exciting post today (they just keep coming right?!) as today marks both the first Ciate swatch and review and the first ever swatch and review of  mini nail polish! Both of those things, all at once! Actually, this is the very first Ciate polish that I have ever tried, so I am looking forward to sharing my very first thoughts on this brand! Also, I am looking forward to just unwinding and chilling as I write this post; as I have been WAY too busy lately! This here is Hopscotch, and it is a nice kind of red-orange colour. I really enjoy this kind of colour, especially looking at it in different lighting and thinking 'Ooh right now it looks more red than orange' or 'Wow! Now of looks orange again!' Also, it's not quite as common a colour as your typical orange. It's just a really fun, bright colour that I enjoy a lot! Ok, so the formula on this polish was not at all what I was expecting, but kind of in a good way! ...

Hello everyone! I'm back today with a swatch and review! Also, it's a brand that I haven't tried before; Mud. Mud, the name makes me think of a bunch of really cute piglets rolling around in mud! Anyway, this polish doesn't and this brand doesn't have anything to do with piglets (although, they should make a polish called Piglet that has a piglet on the bottle, that would be adorable), but it is a very affordable brand. First of all; colour! I don't know if you like orange polish; but I love it! It's such a bright and happy colour! This is called Tripped Up Tango and it is a kind of red-orange hybrid, that I did not know even existed in the colour universe! I love how bright and unique it is, it really pops off the nail (not literally, though). The formula on this polish was a really pleasant surprise. Hello friends! How are you? I have just come back from a little coastal holiday and I brought nail polish-specifically 46 nail polishes. Yep, I know HAUL, H-A-U-L!! I'm not sure if I should turn it into a new series, like my Boxing Day Haul Series which I recently finished, please let me know what you think in the comments! Anyway, I'll get the ball rolling with this Neon nail polish from a brand which I have been dying to try; Models Own. I bought this on sale (actually I bought everything from this haul on sale, that's a LOT of sales!) from Priceline for $2! This polish is called Orange Seal. It is SUPER bright neon polish, which I love for the summertime! There is no white base coat needed for this polish, which I find impressive given how bright it is. But, the formula takes three coats to get fully opaque, as on two coats there are still dark patches.
