Hi guys! With all my Valentines Day posts over, I wasn't really what to post next, as I had a couple of tutorials and swatches that I hadn't written up yet because I was busy with Valentines posts! It was difficult to decided, as I am one of the most indecisive people on earth and also because I have a really terrible cold, but I eventually chose to go with these lace nails as my first post-Valentines tutorial, coz' I was really happy with how they turned out, and they were real easy! Not too long ago, actually the same time I picked up Sheer Cotton by Revlon, I found a bottle of clear nail polish on clearance (oh! look a punny thing; clear on clear-ance)! When I saw it I think that I must have screamed "YES" at the top of my lungs because I had been lookin' for clear nail polish forever. Hello there! How are you guys? Today I have another swatch and review from Revlon, but this time from the Top Speed range. This is called 'Sheer Cotton'. I was really looking forward to trying this polish, coz' I thought it might be a little like ' Sheer Pearl ' also from the Revlon Top Speed range. That, it was not. But let's get into it! Alright! I will start with the thing that I liked the most about this polish; the colour! The colour is extremely unique; it is very accurate to the colour of natural cotton, as indicated to by the name of this polish (Sheer Cotton). I really haven't seen anything like this before. Good day everybody! Today I bring you another swatch and review of a polish I picked up quite recently from L'oreal! This particular nail polish is from a range called 'vernis a l'huile' (l'huile means oil), which I have never tried before. Apparently, this polish is infused with different kinds of oils, similar to the Color Thearapy Range from Sally Hansen, except the oils in this polish are supposed to create richness of colour and add a shinier finish. The name of this polish is 'Dimanche Apres Midi' which apparently translated to Sunday afternoon. This polish is a nude colour with some nail line showing. As I put it on my nails, I was very surprised as to how many coats it took to keep the finish from showing streaks. I originally thought that two coats would do the trick, but in the end I needed three, which made the polish quite opaque. Hiya again! Wow, this is my third post today! And it's another swatch and review from a nail polish that I recently obtained. This is Euphoria by Rimmel. Euphoria is a taupe polish with a strong pink shimmer. I tried to capture the shimmer in my swatch photos, but it's much stronger in real life. The polish at three coats still shows a little bit of nail line, and I love it, but if it's not your thing you could probably put it over black to still achieve a beautiful shimmery look. The bottle says that it dries in sixty seconds and is opaque in one coat, it tries pretty fast but I wouldn't say it dries in sixty seconds. You can wear this in one coat, but you won't get much of that beautiful pink shimmer. The formula is good as well. I'm not much of a Rimmel lover, but this polish really stands out to me! Hello everyone! Here I am again with a swatch and review post! I haven't swatched anything since my top ten polishes for Christmas list, so this makes me very happy! I couldn't find this particular nail polish anywhere on the internet, so I think that it must be quite old. Please enjoy the swatch! This is "Pink Pearls"by Avon. The polish is a gorgeous light pink colour with a strong shimmer. It's has a pearlescent finish with a tad of nail line showing at three coats. While I love the finish and colour, the formula was very watery and the brush was sooo tiny, like even smaller than the old Essie brush which made the application even more difficult. Even at three coats, there are a few dark spots, which I attribute to the skinny brush. But the bottle, guys, THE BOTTLE. It's amazingly beautiful.
