Sinful Colors Vanessa Hudgens Winter Collection, Full Collection Review

Image
Hello everybody! I'm so very excited today because we will be looking at the Sinful Colors Vanessa Hudgens collaboration collection for winter! I just adore the Sinful Colors/Vanessa Hudgens collaboration polishes, they are some of my favourite polishes in my collection, so my expectations for this collection were very high (almost as high as my excitement levels!). This is a 12 piece collection (the last collection aka the Jungle Beat collection only had 8 polishes but the Festival collection also had 12, just a fun little fact) and every single one of them is shimmer polish; not a single creme in sight! This differs from the the other collaborations, which all had at least a few cremes thrown in there. But, I'm not too upset about that; I LOVE shimmer polishes, and after swatching a collection that was pretty much completely made up of creme polishes (none other than the Sinful Colors New Shades collection), I am happy to be swatching these shimmery beauties! Oh! And, before

Essie 'With the Band' Red Nail Polish Swatch and Review

Image
Hellooooo everybody! I am so sorry for my lengthy absence from this blog, I didn't expect to be as busy as I have been over the last 6 months or so. But! Don't  despair! I'm back now and I'm going to try my very ultra-best to update this blog regularly! Anyway, it's almost one of the most exciting times of the year- Christmas time! Are you guys excited? My excitement is at 1000 per cent (which is a lot even for me). So! To get in the Christmas spirit I decided to kick off my return to this blog with a review of a nail polish in one of the most classic Christmas colour of all time- RED! So let's dive in head first very quickly into this review! So, this here is With the Band by ESSIE (You guys know that I love me some Essie)! This here isn't your typical red, it is a touch darker. This colour is not the most unique in the whole entire world but I do think that it's still pretty, especially if you are a fan of reds! While I'm not the biggest fan

OPI "Never a Dulles Moment" Yellow Nail Polish Swatch and Review

Image
Hey guys! My nails seem to be apart of a weird phenomenon lately: whenever they start to grow out, they just break again! I have never experienced this nail breaking phenomenon before, but for a nail addict, it's just about the most frustrating thing ever! Anyway, today we will be looking at a swatch from before my nails broke (again), and it's YELLOW! And not just any yellow, it's a mustard yellow! Oh! And before I forget (well, actually, I did forget, then I remembered again and now I'm typing it up before I once again forget it) I have some new collections to swatch! I haven't had any collections to swatch so I am looking forward to getting to do some serious swatch and reviewing for them so I hope you guys are as excited as I am! Anyway, here it is, our mustard yellow polish Never a Dulles Moment by the one and only OPI! Now, you know that I love yellows: neon yellows, pastel yellows, bright yellows, all the yellows....and mustardy yellows are no exceptio

Mud 'Pinkalot' Pink Nail Polish Swatch and Review

Image
Hi everyone! I'm back today with another swatch and review (yay!) to share with you all! For some reason in the winter pretty much all I feel like wearing on my nails is blue: blue, blue, blue, blue, blue! Lately I have been blue MAD! But, today we are looking at a pink polish with a fabulous name, that as a lover of pink nail polish I thoroughly approve of: Pinkalot by Mud. Now this polish is kind of an odd one, it kinda had me a little confused: it's matte-ish and neon-ish which is kinda weird. But hey! It's pink! It's got a cool name and it's by Mud so I am excited to get into the review! Here we have this gorgeous hot pink shade that, I tell you, I fell in love with at first sight. It's such a pretty bright colour, so bright that I think it's almost neon, but not quite. It's just got a little pinch of neon. Just a tad. It's a great shade if you want something neon, but not super duper in your face bright. I don't know that I have really

Essie 'It's Genius' Burgandy Nail Polish Swatch and Review

Hi guys! I am so sorry for my absence, it's been so long since I have posted anything! I have just been SUPER busy lately and haven't gotten a chance to post. But, anyway I'M BACK! And, even better, I'm back with an Essie polish to swatch and review, isn't that great? Today we will be looking at an Essie polish called It's Genius (sounds like a promising name for a pretty polish!), and upon a quick search, I found this polish is from WAY back in 2008, now, that;'s a way of a ways back, and I am really looking forward to seeing what a polish from back then is like, so let's hop into the swatch and the review guys! \ And there it is, It's Genius (isn't it though?). Anyway, upon first inspection I was not sure what exactly this colour was, at first I thought wine purple, but now I think it's more of a burgundy. The colour also looks slightly different in different lightings, which further added to my confusion when I was trying to figure out

Just a Random Manicure: Sinful Colors 'Blue La La' with Sally Hansen 'Golden Rule' and Matte Top Coat

Image
Helooooo everyone! How are you today? I am sorry for my lack of presence lately, I have been a busy little bee and now I seem to have picked myself up a cold! But, I am here now with a new instalment of my new series Just a Random Manicure (hey, that's two news!). Since my nails broke really badly (and by really badly, I mean really, really badly), I haven't really been doing anything pretty with them. I took off the false nails that I had on before and have been taking care of them thoroughly, trying to get them to grow back out. I can't remember the last time that they broke SO bad! Anyway, they have grown a bit, so I decided to paint them in celebration! Since it's winter now (brrr, it's cold!), I wanted to do something with blue and since I recently picked up Sinful Colors Blue La La, which I have been after for ages, It was a perfectly perfect opportunity to use it! Ooh, isn't that a pretty colour? I am just in love with this kind of cornflower blue!

Comparison: Sally Hansen 'B Girl' and Rimmel 'Breakfast in Bed' Green Nail Polish Comparison

Image
Hi everyone! I am sorry that it has been, like, forever! My workload is kind of crushing me at the moment, and that nail that I tried to fix broke, like real bad. At the moment, I have filed them all down and put a set of false nails over them hoping that they will grow out nice and strong underneath! Anyway, this post is kinda like going back in a time machine (wouldn't it be nice to have an actual time machine?) for me, because it's from a time before my poor little nails broke! I recently picked up a bunch of polishes and as I was going through them (which is the natural thing to do when you get a whole bunch of new polishes), one looked strangely familiar to me. So! Eventually I realised, it reminded me a WHOLE lot of Sally Hansen B Girl. It is the Rimmel polish ' Breakfast in Bed'. Of course, I felt the instant need to compare them, and, well, that's how this post came about! WOW! That Sally Hansen Miracle Gel looks like a giant compared to that teeny litt

Fall/Autumn Diagonal Dot Nail Art Tutorial

Image
Hiya guys! I am so sorry that it has been a while; it's been a number 11 on the business scale of 1 to 10 for me lately, but I'am BACK! As of late I have been longing to do some more fall/autumn nails; y'know, while it's still actually Autumn. As it turns out, I really have no talent for autumn leaf nail art, so I have had to TOTALLY change track.I really wanted to use those key autumn colours for this one; y'know; red...yellow..orange; those colours! So, the very specific colours that I used for these nails were Revlon Red by Revlon, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Sun Kissed and Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Teeny Bikini. As you can see, I did 2 of my nails (pinky and pointer) in red and then the middle yellow and ring finger orange. Ok! So, since all the dots are different colours for different bases, I will be doing this tutorial for the red nails, and then I'll adapt it later for the others. To start, grab a medium sized dotting tool and create a diagonal lin
