Comparison: Sally Hansen 'B Girl' and Rimmel 'Breakfast in Bed' Green Nail Polish Comparison

Image
Hi everyone! I am sorry that it has been, like, forever! My workload is kind of crushing me at the moment, and that nail that I tried to fix broke, like real bad. At the moment, I have filed them all down and put a set of false nails over them hoping that they will grow out nice and strong underneath! Anyway, this post is kinda like going back in a time machine (wouldn't it be nice to have an actual time machine?) for me, because it's from a time before my poor little nails broke! I recently picked up a bunch of polishes and as I was going through them (which is the natural thing to do when you get a whole bunch of new polishes), one looked strangely familiar to me. So! Eventually I realised, it reminded me a WHOLE lot of Sally Hansen B Girl. It is the Rimmel polish ' Breakfast in Bed'. Of course, I felt the instant need to compare them, and, well, that's how this post came about! WOW! That Sally Hansen Miracle Gel looks like a giant compared to that teeny litt...

Image
Hi! I'm back today with a brand shiny new instalment of the Top Ten Nail Polishes to Wear this Easter series (all necessary facts are contained here ). We have zoomed past the first two polishes on the list (aka number 10 and number 9 ) so that brings us to the pretty polish 'sittin in place number 8. This polish is from a line that I don't think I have reviewed before; the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel line, so I am definitely looking forward to getting into the swatch and review and sharing my thought with you guys! If you don't know anything about this line of polish, don't worry coz I'll dive right into the specifics later in the review! This is B-Girl by, as you  know, Sally Hansen! Y'know, after St Patricks Day, I didn't think that I would be doing any more green nail polish reviews for a while, well, that didn't happen coz' here I am reviewing another lovely green nail polish! This specific shade of green is is actually a mint green and ...

Sinful Colors 'Innocent' (St Patricks Day number 1) Green Nail Polish Swatch and Review

Image
Hi everybody. Today is both a sad and a happy day, as this is the last polish on my Top Ten Nail Polishes to Wear this St Patricks Day series (read all 'bout that here ).  But, I don't wanna be sad! I wanna celebrate, coz' this list was a journey, with lot'sa hard work put into it. Y'know, me being a bit of a worry-wart, was worried that I would not be able to finish this list in time for St Patricks Day, but here I am, victorious! The final polish on this list is one that is quite special to me. Why, you ask? Coz' it's number one on this list; that's why! Look! It's Innocent by Sinful Colors! This colour is an absolute St Patricks Day classic; when I think about my collection  and nail polishes for St Patricks day, this is without a doubt the first thing that comes to mind. There is no other nail polish in my collection that could have topped Innocent for the number one position on this list! The colour is just a straight up light green crem...

Zoya 'Logan' (St Patricks Day number 2) Green Nail Polish Swatch and Review

Image
Hello! Welcome to my second last swatch and review for the Top Ten Nail Polishes to Wear this St Patricks Day series (gee, that never did get an abbreviation did it....is it too late for me to make one up now?). Wait? Second last? How did that happen? I hope you know coz' I got no idea. Anyway, with the end of this list SUPER close, y'know these last polishes are gonna be pretty darn, well, pretty! Or at least, pretty darn well suited to St Patricks Day. And our number two polish is no exception! Also, of you don't know anything about this list I keep nattering on about, all the information you need is here ! Ta-da! This is Logan by one of my favourite brands; Zoya! See, I promised you guys I would do another Zoya swatch and review and here it is, I snuck it into this list because it is BEAUTIFUL and St Patricks Day suitable. This colour is a dark green, but it's got a whole bunch of other amazing stuff thrown in there as well. As far as I can tell; there is gold ...

Sally Hansen 'Green thumb' (St Patricks Day number 3) Green nail polish Swatch and Review

Image
Hiya! Boy, is today an exciting day. Well, my nail broke again last night, so that's not exciting (AT ALL!) but I am not concentrating on that; I'm thinking about the fact that we are in the TOP THREE! Isn't that exciting? I'm right to be excited, aren't I? This list is so full of green nail polishes that I don't think that you guys will want to see another green nail polish swatched for about a year (cough cough, next St Patricks Day, cough),  but the upside is that they are all really amazing polishes to wear for St Patricks Day, so I hope that list has given you some nail-inspiration! Anyway, I thought it would be nice to have a little emotional spiel here given that we are in the top three now, but I'll get into the swatch and review not; no more rambling, I promise! Oh, and if you don't know what this list is, click here for all the info you need! This polish is called Green Thumb and it is also from the Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear range (if you d...

OPI 'Jade is the New Black' (St Patricks Day number 4) Green nail polish swatch

Image
Hi everyone! We really are getting so close to the end of the list; it feels unreal (no, seriously, is this a dream?). We have already dived into the depth of six fantastic nail polishes to wear this St Patricks Day! I am really glad that I chose to do the list this way; it is so much more interesting to get into what makes each and every nail polish special, because each and every nail polish is special. With that little monologue outta the way let's take a deep dive into the number four polish on our list. Actually! I take it back! I don't wan't to take a deep dive into this polish; it's too dark and murky and I won't be able to see anything! Okay, okay, I know it's not a literal deep dive, I'ma just jokin' around! This beautiful polish is Jade is the New Black by OPI. And, the name says it all really; OPI has done my job for me in describing the colour and now I feel like I'm lazy, but I will still try and get into it a bit more! The colour i...

Sally Hansen 'Mint Sorbet' (St Patricks Day number 6) Green nail polish Swatch and Review

Image
Hi guys! Number six, huh! Are you guys enjoying this series ? I sure hope that you are? Today I am sharing with you one brand (and line in particular) that I love; Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear! I love this line of polish because it is so consistently good and so consistently p-r-e-t-t-y! This polish I picked up a while ago and fell in love with the subtle and beautiful colour. I'ma now not say too much and give it all away and hop into the review and swatch with rabbit like agility (get it, coz' rabbits hop)! This polish is called Mint Sorbet and it's from the Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear range ( but you knew that already, coz' I've got a big mouth and couldn't help mentioning that already). The colour is very subtle; it is a light green, but it almost looks white, as if the base is a white with only a lil' bit of green thrown in there. It's so cute and subtle and it's pretty, and innit that a good thing? Also, I think it's unique! You don't s...

Sinful Colors 'Jade Kat' (St Patricks Day number 7) Green Nail Polish Swatch and Review

Image
Hello guys! Welcome to the latest swatch and review in my Top Ten Nail Polishes to Wear this St Patricks Day series!  This here is swatch and review number 7 out of 10, I hope you are enjoying every instalment of the series as much as I am! So far we have been looking at polishes that are very unique in colour, but we haven't really looked at anything sparkly' and pretty and glamorous....until now! So, taking our number seven spot is the shimmery beauty; Jade Kat by Sinful Colors! Jade Kat is a emerald green polish packed with shimmer, and really, it's a gem (get it; emerald-gem)! Innit gorgeous and sparkly! I love sparkly things, I am instantly attracted to them! The polish may look a little blue-toned, but that's only because the shimmer is prominently blue in colour. Ahh! This is just such a pretty polish! But, and I really don't like the use of that word, it does take three coats to build it to full opacity. When I was swatching it, it looked prett...

OPI 'Did it on 'em' Green Nail polish (St Patricks Day number 9) Swatch and Review

Image
Hiya! How are you guys going today? Did you like my first St Patricks Day Swatch and Review? I liked doing it that's for sure and I'm super pumped to bring you the second swatch and review in the series; Did it on em by OPI! As some of you already know, I adore OPI nail polish and I adore swatching it, coz' the brush is one of my all-time favourites (it's really awesome)! By the way, I realised when I was editing my live application swatch video that my cuticles got really green in a lot of them from swatchin' a bunch 'a green polishes all at once, so I apologise if that annoyed any of you! Note to self; green polish = stained cuticles! Comin in at number nine is Did it on em', by OPI. Did it on em' is such a unique colour! I would describe this as a yellow toned green ( whether or not that is a thing is another story) but I believe that this colour is also known as a 'shrek-green'. It is a very vibrant polish, that's for sure! It ...

Maybelline Color Show Bleached Neons "Chic Chartreuse" (St Patricks Day number 10) Swatch and Review

Image
Hello everybody! Following my formal announcement for the top ten polishes to wear for St Patricks Day list I decided it was best to not keep all of you in suspense, but to release the first swatch and review as quick as lightning (is that a saying?)! For those of you that missed the announcement you can read it her e, it'll give you everything you need to know if you don't know it already! Right now i'm itching to get to the first review, so let's gooooooo!!! I'm kicking off our list with a polish that is a little bit unusual for St Patricks day; a neon! So, at number ten on our list is Chic Chantreuse from the Maybelline Color Show Bleached Neons range!I could not help myself with this one, I had to include it on the list because it is perfection for St Patricks Day! The colour, is chartreuse, but it is more green leaning than I would expect of a typical chanteuse shade. Despite being a neon this polish isn't that bright, possibly because it is bleached, ...
