Sinful Colors Vanessa Hudgens Winter Collection, Full Collection Review

Image
Hello everybody! I'm so very excited today because we will be looking at the Sinful Colors Vanessa Hudgens collaboration collection for winter! I just adore the Sinful Colors/Vanessa Hudgens collaboration polishes, they are some of my favourite polishes in my collection, so my expectations for this collection were very high (almost as high as my excitement levels!). This is a 12 piece collection (the last collection aka the Jungle Beat collection only had 8 polishes but the Festival collection also had 12, just a fun little fact) and every single one of them is shimmer polish; not a single creme in sight! This differs from the the other collaborations, which all had at least a few cremes thrown in there. But, I'm not too upset about that; I LOVE shimmer polishes, and after swatching a collection that was pretty much completely made up of creme polishes (none other than the Sinful Colors New Shades collection), I am happy to be swatching these shimmery beauties! Oh! And, before

Fall/Autumn Chevron Nail Art

Image
Hi guys! SO! I have been super busy the past few days swatching all the polishes from the Vanessa Hudgens/Sinful Colors (which is a terrific combination) winter collection and also doing a comparisons for each polish! While that project is underway, I wanted to share some nail art that I did in for the Fall/Autumn season, because so far all I have done in terms of seasonal nail art has all been for Spring (even though it's Autumn now in Australia)! Yep! I needed to do some Autumn nail PRONTO and I have been wanting to experiment with chevron nail art for a while now, so eventually genius struck and so,I formulated a plan for Autumn inspired chevron nail art! Yeah! Chevrons, chevrons chevrons! I'm excited coz' chevron nail art is something I have wanted to do on this blog for approximately forever! I did these nails completely by hand, but I got them , finished faster than I was expecting. I think for these four nails, it took me 30 mins to 45 mins, don't quote me o

Hi everyone! Easter is a such a great holiday to break out a multitude of fantastic shades to celebrate the occasion! You've got your pretty pastels and light colours and bright happy colours...there are so many different shades you can wear for this holiday, where, oh where to begin? Well! I have the solution to this very problem right here with a list compiling my top ten polish-y picks for Easter,! To kick of this list the very first polish in the number 10 spot will be........ (end of super dramatic pause) Easy Going by Sinful Colors! This polish right here is super Easter suitable 'coz it's an eggshell colour! What could be better for Easter? I mean; Eggshell- Easter Eggs, really I just think that it's perfect! It's also super unique, you don't see many colours like this around. BUT! This polish does have a draw-back; the formula is super runny and hard to control! It took me three coats to get it opaque and I found working in thin coats to b

Hi guys! Today is Easter here in Australia, so it seems like a great time for the last instalment in the Top Ten Nail Polishes to Wear this Easter series (information about it  here )! The very last one; It's a sad day, but also a happy day coz' I get to share with you my very top pick for the Easter season! So far we have looked at a whole bunch of awesome polishes but this is my favourite for the season! So! I will not keep you all in suspense, instead I will hop right into the swatch and review, let's go! My number 1 polish for this Easter is YOLO Yellow by Sinful Colors and as you can see it is a beautiful bright yellow! As I have mentioned not too long ago, yellow is one of my favourite colours for Easter time, and this yellow is extremely good. This colour is super bright, it looks like a beautiful strong ray of sunshine on your nails. This is really an Easter essential colour for me! The formula on this polish has got to be one of, if not my very favour

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel 'All Chalked Up' (Easter number 2) Purple Nail polish swatch and Review

Hi everybody! We sure are close to the end of this list , huh (read about said list here )? And Easter is juuuuust around the corner as well, and it is a very short corner, Easter is super close! Right now I have some Easter baking going on as well as some Easter nails (good combination, right?)! I'm pretty excited for these last swatch and reviews, because of course, these are the top two! Today we are looking at another polish from the Miracle Gel range by Sally Hansen, which has got a bunch of things that I really like about it, especially that brush! This polish is called All Chalked Up and it's quite a interesting shade that you may recognise as a close dupe for  Spring Fling , by Sinful Colors. This is pastel purple that is super, super light! It looks almost like it's only just purple; but I love that! It's a very subtle and soft look on the nail which is very unique and very beautiful! Definitely a favourite of mine for Easter as it is a really cool take on

Sinful Colors 'Beaches and Cream' (Easter number 3) Yellow Nail Polish swatch and Review

Hi guys! It's really getting down to the wire here in this series (details and facts for this series can be found here )! Three polishes left! That's not many at all! One of my favourite colours ever to wear for Easter is yellow! It's such a bright and happy colour, and pastels of course, are another Easter essential for me, so as you can imagine, a pastel yellow would be just about be perfection! Well, today we will be looking at a polish that has both of these elements. This polish is Beaches and Cream, which is a lovely pastel yellow polish. I would say that this is a little different to any old pastel yellow; this can be described as a pastel lemon yellow (ooh!, if you mix the colour up into the name, you could have a polish called 'lemons and cream'!)This is another beautiful soft shade for the Easter season and it's unique as well! Gotta love a unique polish!  Another interesting little thing that I noticed about this polish is that there is

Hi guys! With very, very few days left until the commencement of Easter, we are left with very very few posts left till the final instalment of the Top Ten Nail Polishes to Wear this Easter series (info about this series stored here )! Am I excited for these last few posts? Definitely! Am I sad that it's ending? Yup! But, I am putting all of that aside for now and focusing on because currently I am very happy to be reviewing another polish from one of my favourite line of polish; the Colourstay Gel Envy line! We last looked at this line of polish a mere 2 posts ago, when I reviewed a pretty purple polish situated in position number 6 on this very list. Today we will be looking at a colour that you may or may not recognise as my very favourite colour; pink! Ooh! This here is Lucky in Love, and this can be classified as a bright pastel pink. Pastel colours and bright colours are really essential Easter shades, so combining both of those in one; that's gotta be pretty perfec

Hi everybody! This is getting really serious; we are half-way through this series already! Whaaaaat? How come that happened? But it's also pretty exciting, coz' we're getting to the real point end of the list here; this is the top 5 (before I babble on any further I will provide some background information for anyone that is unfamiliar with this series here ).  Only adding to my excitement is the fact that one of my favourite TV shows started airing a new season last night; any more excitement and my computer may explode!Today we will be looking at another nail polish by Sally Hansen, but this time from the complete salon manicure range, which has a base and top coat built right into the polish itself; pretty cool right? This specific polish right here before your eyes is Skys the Limit! This is a Sky blue polish, and I just love shades of blue like this, especially for Easter time, because it's so bright and cheerful! It's like a beautiful clear blue sky!

This instalment will be on one of my all-time favourite lines of nail polish the Revlon Colourstay Gel Envy line, which I have previously reviewed, but only once ! So, I am really looking forward to reviewing it again! This here is Winning Streak, and it is a beautiful mid-tone purple shade! I feel like purple is just a quintessential Easter colour, bright colourful colours (ooh, colourful colours; that is a bit odd isn't it?) such as this one are a favourite of mine for this particular season! I can imagine this as a nice colour for a pretty, colourful Easter egg! As for the formula, guys, It was really really good! The formula gave me no problems whatsoever; it's a problem free polish! The formula went o

Hi guys! Today the Top Ten Nail Polishes to Wear this Easter series (all info about this series is stored here ) continues with number 7! But, in other exciting news, I just picked up ten new nail polishes that were on clearance! It feels so good getting a nail polish bargain; doesn't it? Well, getting any kind of bargain nail polish related or otherwise is pretty awesome, really! The polishes that I picked up were almost all Sally Hansen, including a bunch of Insta-dry polishes from the same collection, which I may swatch at some point, but the fact that I am missing one is really bugging me, where are you missing polish, where? Getting back to the topic at hand; number 7, that's pretty exciting, I'm excited guys! So I better dive into the swatch and review! This here is Be Happy by Sinful Colors and it is a seafoam-green colour.
