Essie 'With the Band' Red Nail Polish Swatch and Review

Hellooooo everybody! I am so sorry for my lengthy absence from this blog, I didn't expect to be as busy as I have been over the last 6 months or so. But! Don't  despair! I'm back now and I'm going to try my very ultra-best to update this blog regularly! Anyway, it's almost one of the most exciting times of the year- Christmas time! Are you guys excited? My excitement is at 1000 per cent (which is a lot even for me). So! To get in the Christmas spirit I decided to kick off my return to this blog with a review of a nail polish in one of the most classic Christmas colour of all time- RED! So let's dive in head first very quickly into this review!

So, this here is With the Band by ESSIE (You guys know that I love me some Essie)! This here isn't your typical red, it is a touch darker. This colour is not the most unique in the whole entire world but I do think that it's still pretty, especially if you are a fan of reds! While I'm not the biggest fan ever of the colour red, I do really like this slightly darker shade! AND this is a colour that I would totally wear especially considering the current season.

Now, before I move onto the formula portion of this here review, I want to quickly apologise for the quality of my photos! My old camera died and my new camera loses focus whenever I try to take a photo of my nails (I have no idea why and it is VERY frustrating). I do intend on taming that darn camera eventually and figuring out a way on getting it to focus but for now I am using my old,old camera and uh, lets just say it doesn't take the most amazing photos in the world so I'm very sorry guys! Anyway! Formula! The formula on this polish is so very amazing, I'm so impressed! The polish went on velvety smooth and the colour pigmentation was epic! I didn't think I would be able to get this opaque in one coat on these 'claws' but I was wrong! It was a one coater! One coat! Single! Hooray!  One thing I will say is that the polish that I have had the wide Essie brush and not the skinny one and I think that it might be harder on longer nails to get it fully opaque in a single coat with the skinny Essie brush, but Y'know, that's just speculation on my part!

Well guys! We have come to the concluding paragraph of this review! Overall I must say that I am quite impressed with this beauty. While the colour is not the most spectacularly unique colour in the world, I still think that it's a really great classic colour and its amazing for the holiday season! My fave thing about this polish has got to be the formula though! So smoooooth and soooooo pigmented, I'm in love! I hope you guys enjoyed this review and that you all have an amazing Christmas and holiday season!
May your nails and holidays be good!
Gabby
