Hearts and Dots Valentines Day Nail Art Tutorial
Hello everybody! Valentines Day is drawing nearer and therefore we need more Valentines Day nails! Am I right, or am I right? I love Valentines Day nails so much! I think that an unusual but fun colour for Valentines Day is grey. Why? Well, it's a very soft colour that pairs very well with classic Valentines colours like pink and purple! Sounds pretty good right?
I love the combination of hearts and dots! If you do to, then I recommend that you check out this tutorial.
I'm going to start off on the heart design that is on my pointer and pinky fingers. First of all, get your base colour on your nails. I used White On by Sally Hansen. Then, draw on a heart in the middle of your nail in a pink polish.
Next, use a small nail art brush to fill in the space around the heart shape in pink. I used Funtime Fuschia by Rimmel.
To complete this look use the tip of a small art brush and create teeny tiny dots. I used Sally Hansen Heavy Metal.
On the middle finger, also using white as a base colour, create small dots using the same technique as above.
The last nail is the ring finger nail, which I used a pink base colour on (also Funtime Fuschia by Rimmel). Now create hearts using white nail polish. To create the hearts use a small nail art brush and create a line that is rounded.
Then create another rounded line that connects to the other line.
Now fill in the nail with your cute little hearts!
How about that! Pretty simple, right? Pretty cute, right? This manicure was pretty quick and easy, it didn't take long and it looks good. If you ask me, that's a good combination!
