Revlon 'Golden Charm' (St Patricks Day number 5) Gold Nail Polish Swatch and Review
Hellooooo! There are 5 'o's on that 'hello' coz' guess what? We are at number five on the top ten nail polishes to wear this st Patricks Day (which, you can read about here)! It's so exciting, but it's sad coz' I don't really want this series to end! But, in my all of my nattering about this list, I have not even realised that St Patricks Day is approaching really fast! I got sooo many posts to get out there so I better get going!
Y'know, I really do not think that think this list could ever be complete without a gold polish; it just wouldn't be right! So, therefore I will now reveal; number five on the top ten nail polishes to wear this St Patricks Day is Golden Charm by Revlon! This polish is so stunning! Gold nail polishes always tend to dazzle with their glitz and glamour and sparkle, sparkle, sparkle, but Golden Charm really stands out to me! It's unique because it is not just a plain gold; it has silver shimmer as well, causing it to transform from a gold polish to a silver polish in different lighting, it's magic! Actual magic! Sometimes, I honestly question whether it is an actual gold polish or if it is a silver polish, even though I know it's gold; it says it in the name!
There is just something so glamorous about gold nail polishes, isn't there? But, anyway, anyway! Enough about the colour; it's formula time! The formula is honestly really great; which I was actually surprised by when I put it on for the first time because Revlon formulas are usually pretty runny, but this one; no problems whatsoever! None! Zilch! And, perfect opacity in two coats! You guys see why this deserves a place on the list, right? The one factor that let's this polish down is the horribly skinny Revlon brush; can't say that I am a fan of it at all; it's just too small! Still, it has not deterred me from this polish. Also, if you are interested to see how this nail polish applies; then you can watch the live application swatch here!
Before I close; I just wanna tell you guys that yesterday I broke a nail and had to shave all my nails down. Don't worry! It's not that bad of a brake; they aren't super short or anything, but right now they are not shaped very nicely and are super uneven. Also, all of my swatch pictures and videos for this series is already done; so you probably won't see my new 'look' for a while yet! Anyway back to the polish; it's so beautiful and unique and doesen't the name just scream St Patricks Day? I was surprised to find out that it is not from a St Patricks Day collection! With a great formula and great coverage, I honestly wouldn't pass this one up for St Patricks Day! By the way, if you guys have missed an installement on the series, catch all the post here! But, anyway, I wanna hear what you guys think! Do you love gold polish? What do you think about the Revlon brush? Do you wanna wear this on St Patricks Day? Let me know down below in the comments or on Instagram and Pintrest (my username is thegoodnailsblog)!
