OPI 'Did it on 'em' Green Nail polish (St Patricks Day number 9) Swatch and Review
Hiya! How are you guys going today? Did you like my first St Patricks Day Swatch and Review? I liked doing it that's for sure and I'm super pumped to bring you the second swatch and review in the series; Did it on em by OPI! As some of you already know, I adore OPI nail polish and I adore swatching it, coz' the brush is one of my all-time favourites (it's really awesome)! By the way, I realised when I was editing my live application swatch video that my cuticles got really green in a lot of them from swatchin' a bunch 'a green polishes all at once, so I apologise if that annoyed any of you! Note to self; green polish = stained cuticles!
Comin in at number nine is Did it on em', by OPI. Did it on em' is such a unique colour! I would describe this as a yellow toned green ( whether or not that is a thing is another story) but I believe that this colour is also known as a 'shrek-green'. It is a very vibrant polish, that's for sure! It almost looks neon on the nail; it's so bright! Although, I must say that I don't think this polish is for everybody; I think you'll either love it or you'll hate it. I know I'm in the love camp for this one!
Formula wise, this polish isn't the best. The formula is a little bit runny and thin; taking three coats to build it to full opacity. But, the finish on this polish is soooo shiny, I love it! I love shiny polishes! In fact, I adore them! Of course, I have already mentioned the fantastic brush; it's wide, it's amazing, I love it! And the OPI bottles are absolutely iconic; classic beautiful and instantly recognisable; that's the OPI way!
Lookat that colour! Despite the problems with the formula; the vibrant and unique colour makes this MUST for this St Patricks Day. I also think it's such a fun colour, and who doesn't love to have fun? This polish has definitely earn't it's spot on this list! By the way, if you have no idea whatsoever about this list that I keep talkin' about, you can read all about it here. Also if you guys missed my last St Patricks day polish you can read that here and don't forget to check out the live application on Instagram! What do you think about this polish? Do you like the colour? Would you wear it on St Patricks day? Do you love the OPI brush? Let me know here in the comments or on Instagram and Pintrest (my username is thegoodnailsblog)!
