Zoya 'Logan' (St Patricks Day number 2) Green Nail Polish Swatch and Review

Hello! Welcome to my second last swatch and review for the Top Ten Nail Polishes to Wear this St Patricks Day series (gee, that never did get an abbreviation did it....is it too late for me to make one up now?). Wait? Second last? How did that happen? I hope you know coz' I got no idea. Anyway, with the end of this list SUPER close, y'know these last polishes are gonna be pretty darn, well, pretty! Or at least, pretty darn well suited to St Patricks Day. And our number two polish is no exception! Also, of you don't know anything about this list I keep nattering on about, all the information you need is here!

Ta-da! This is Logan by one of my favourite brands; Zoya! See, I promised you guys I would do another Zoya swatch and review and here it is, I snuck it into this list because it is BEAUTIFUL and St Patricks Day suitable. This colour is a dark green, but it's got a whole bunch of other amazing stuff thrown in there as well. As far as I can tell; there is gold and green shimmer but this polish also has some slightly multichromatic properties; when you look at it in different lighting there is definitely a little bit of a shift in colour, sometimes to blue and sometimes to a gold/yellow hue. This polish is definitely not a straight up multichrome, but you can see the multichrome-ish-ness (what? there was no word for what I was trying to say so I made one up). Y'know, when I first saw this on my nails I thought "It's like a mermaid tail, but on my nails!", and I think that description suits this nail polish pretty well.

The formula builds up to full opacity in two coats, which impressed me given the truckload of shimmer that is packed into this polish! I didn't notice any problems with the formula either; it's not too thick or thin, builds up nicely, doesn't run, so yeah, all the good stuff you want in when you think about nail polish formulas! Now, I have previously done a review of the Zoya bottle and brush (which you can read here), but I'll give you guys a quick overview. Bottle; amazing. Brush; not so much. Ok, ok, you deserve more depth than that! The brush is a fairly small brush, I feel kind of ambiguous about it but It's not terrible. The bottle is beautiful and elegant, small and easy to store without being too small so that you need a search party to find it in your draw! Oh! And, if you are interested in in watching a live application for this polish, it's right here!

Overall, I this polish really blew me away! It's just one of those polishes that you can't peel your eyes off of once it's on your nails, just gorgeous. It has a very magical effect, which is why it reminds me of a mermaid tail (well, what I imagine a mermaid tail would look like), but it also is very suited to St Patricks day; just look at the base colour! Also, the formula is great! This is definitely one of the most glamorous polishes on the list, which in combination with the formula, is why it is so high up on the list. What do you guys think? Do you like this polish? Are you a Zoya fan? What do you think about the colour? Let me know right here in the comments or on Instagram and Pintrest (my username is thegoodnailsblog) and I look forward to seeing you in the next post!
May your nails be good and lucky!
Gabby
