Floral Half-moon Nail Art Tutorial

Image
Hey guys! Wazzup? I'm sooooo excited, because guess what polishes I just picked up? Two full Sinful Colours collections, and I'm thrilled 'coz it's been approximately forever since I last did a collection swatch and review! Unfortunately, my nails are not in absolute peak form at the moment, and two of them seem to be growing out very, very slowly! It's frustrating because I have so many amazing polishes to share with you guys; grow nails, grow! For now, I have another nail art tutorial which I did totally on the spur of the moment (inspiration hit me like a lightening bolt, but, y'know, a less physically harmful lightening bolt) about.....hmmm, let's see, two months ago, I think? Anyway, enjoy this well-aged tutorial! Hmm...I wonder if these flowers actually look like some real life flowers somewhere...no, probably not, I totally made them up, so it's not likely! The polishes that I used for this manicure were Revlon Craving Coral, Spirit by Revlon

Abstract Rainbow Nail Art Tutorial using Stamper

Image
Hello! How have all of you been? I myself have been pretty busy lately, so I am looking forward to relaxing and doing some bloggin' right about now! I'm really into abstract-y things lately, I think  they look really cool like! I also am well into my stamper, just been experimenting; y'know? Of course not all of my expermients work out....if all of them did, then all the nail tutorials on this blog would be stamper related! Another love of mine are rainbows! But, I mean, who doesn't love rainbows, why choose one colour when you can choose all of 'em? So, choose all of 'em we shall! Ohh....so...many..colours.....so...colourful.....What? Oh yeah; polishes used! Enchanting by Revlon, Innocence by Sinful Colors, Unknown colour by Boe, Sourise by David Jones, Heat Wave by Red Earth, Fun time Fuschia by Rimmel and be red-y by Rimmel! Y'know, guys, I think this may be my most colourful tutorial yet! The first step to rainbows on nails is to take your firs

Essie 'Master Plan' Grey Nail Polish Swatch and Review

Image
Hello everyone! Today I think is another special day, coz' it's been a while since I did a swatch and review and also coz' ESSIE! Yep, Essie,  none other than my favourite brand! This is one polish that I picked up while on holidays; in fact I picked up almost 50 nail polish bargains (including, to my delight,  a ton of Essie polishes) on that holiday and I have even swatched and reviewed a few of them , but I have yet to swatch and review an Essie from that haul; which makes me sad! Those poor Essies, sitting in a draw, just crying put to be swatched and reviewed! Well Essies! Your cries will be ignored no longer! It's review-y swatch-y time-y! Here we have Mater Plan by, wanna guess; Essie! This polish is essentially just your average grey nail polish; if I had to make up a name for this shade of grey, I would call it 'grey, grey' coz' it's just a grey, that's all. While it is basic; that's not really a bad thing! Basic colours are the bas

French Tip Stamper-Marble Nail Art Tutorial

Image
Hello guys! How are you all going? I have competed and posted all of my St Patricks Day posts, not sure how I feel about that though; happy? Sad? Excited for new things to come; yeah, it's probably that one but I still miss green and clovers and gold! And, I think you guys should be excited too, because there are lots of great things to come! But, I'm also gettin pumped for Easter! Yes, I know it's still a month away but excitement is still in the air and it's gonna stay in the air until Easter is here! These nails are a celebration of pre-Easter excitement making use of pretty pastel colours and a stamper-marble effect (yay!). Oh and bonus, they are easy! Do you see what I mean when I say they are Easter-air-excitement-inspired (a bit clunky to say out loud but a true description nonetheless)! Oh boy do I love pastels! The polishes that I used for these nails were David Jones Sourise and Revlon Enchanting, as you can see a pretty pair of pastel purple (well, more li

Green Abstract Dry-brushing Nail Art Tutorial (St Patricks Day)

Image
Hiya guys! Today is my very last St Patricks Day nail art tutorial before I start moving into nails for any old time of the year! This tutorial is a good transition coz' it's kinda neutral; if you use the right colours it's a St Patricks Day manicure but if you use other colours it can just be a mani for any time of the year. Oh! And you guys will not believe what has happened (it's not good news, I don't know why I made it sound like good news) I have had TWO breaks on my nail! Two and two days in a row. One broke when it got stuck in a draw (the draw that hold my nails polish collection no less) and one the victim of a bread knife while I was slicing bread! So, yeah, I had to shave down my nails a fair bit, and this was all after they were re-growing when they broke a week ago! I, know I know, It's quite a tale! But they'll get back to they're original state eventually.... When I mixed the light green polish (Sinful Colors Innocent) and the dark g

St Patricks Day Nail Art Tutorial; Gradient Clover Nails

Image
Hi again everybody, and happy St Patricks Day (again)! Today I welcome you all to my second last nail art tutorial for St Patricks Day! And guess what? More clovers! Yay, clovers, yay! Y'know, I didn't get do to that many tutorials for St Patricks Day, well, not as many as I usually end up doing for holidays! It's coz' I started late, well, actually, I started early, then I thought I was too early so I waited, but then I waited too long and it ended up being too late! Gah! It's a viscous cycle, innit? I definitely wanted to do some sort of gradient-y nails for St Patricks Day, but now I regret not doing it in green and gold! That is just such a cute combination for St Patricks day! The nail polishes that I used for these nails were; Revlon Jaded Night, Sally Hansen White On and Sinful Colors Innocent . The first step is to paint your nails with a coat of black or white nail polish to serve as a base for the gradient. Next, using a latex-free makeup sponge,

St Patricks Day Nail Art Tutorial: Gold and Green Diagonal Clover Nails

Image
Hi guys! Happy St Patricks day to everybody in the southern hemisphere! I can't BELIEVE that it is already St Patricks Day! I still have St Patricks Day nail art tutorials to do! But, still, I am gonna do 'em,  mark my words! Anyway, today I am sharing one of them! I love clovers, I think that they are the cutest things in the world! I feel like I haven't done enough clover themed St Patricks Day nail art tutorials, so this manicure is based off of my burning desire to put clovers on my nails, even if they are only three-leaf clovers (I feel like my four-leaf clovers always look like green flowers)! Whoa! I'm sorry that my photos turned out so dark, I'm not sure why though; it's a mystery! I like the diagonal effect of these nails; I kinda just did 'em on a whim; y'know experimenting and such, but I think that they look cool! The polishes I used for these nails were Sinful Colors Innocent and an unnamed gold Boe polish. My...nails.....were...so

Image
Hey guys! How are you all going? Today I'm really happy to be getting back to a nail art tutorial, it's been ages since I have done one of these because the Top Ten Nail Polishes to Wear this St Patricks Day series was occupying all of my time! I wanted to share a simple and fun nail art tutorial which you can use to showcase some of your favourite shades for St Patricks Day! Oh, and by the way my nails are super yellow in the photos because I did this tutorial after swatching all ten of the polishes on the list, I shoulda' used a french manicure polish underneath or something.....sorry guys! So, I wanted to do this tutorial because I think that dots are sooo much fun! Also, I wanted to showcase some of my favourite shades for St Patricks Day but all in one manicure (this is the best thing for when you can't decide what polish to wear; you can have your polish and wear it too, does that phrase work? If it does I am totally gonna use it again!). In this tutorial I
